We would like to share with you what our residents, their families and employees have to say about Garden Courte Memory Care.
"Don & I would like to thank you for the fabulous care you gave our parents over the many years they spent with you. You made them feel like family and that they were truly "at home." Always ready to do whatever was necessary to keep them happy and make them comfortable was evident to anyone who came to visit. We had peace when we would leave the facility that they were loved. – Don & Rita, adult children of former residents
"As my wife ventured through her long journey of the various stages of Dementia/Alzheimer’s, it has been most comforting knowing that the Garden Courte team has been available to provide such professional care. Garden Courte is to be commended for not only their exceptional facilities and care giving, but also for their community involvement in caregiver educational support, which has been instrumental in providing proven professional and home care coping skills." – Bob, spouse of current resident
"To say that I was overwrought the first time I passed through the doors of Garden Courte, would be an understatement. But I was met with warmth, understanding, a desire to find the best solution, a willingness to follow it through, and a great sense of peace. This attitude prevails throughout the facility and encompasses all people associated with Garden Courte. My husband is comfortable, content, and thriving in this environment. I cannot ask for more." – Joan, spouse of current resident
"Our beloved mother… has been a resident at Garden Courte for 11 months now. She is doing much better than at previous settings. All staff at Garden Courte are caring and attentive, from the Director to the Caregivers. The food is very good. Mom is always clean and well-cared for, including manicures and pedicures! The communication between staff and the family is timely and effective. We rest assured everyday that Mom is right where she should be given her current situation." – Susan, daughter of current resident
"Garden Courte was able to keep [Dad] clean, shaved, groomed, and dressed everyday, talk to him, ensure he was fed nutritional meals, and right there to respond when he fell once. They did a better job caring for his every need than we, his family, could ever have, despite our having the best of intentions. The worry was lifted from our shoulders, knowing he was being fully and properly cared for while enduring this terrible terminal disease.
We had investigated other facilities in the area, but in the end there was no question: Garden Courte won, hands-down. I believe you recently received some kind of award, and I am not surprised. You give exceptional care. Residents are treated as people, with histories, families, and dignity. Staff exhibit compassion, a positive attitude, and are always cheerful. Your staff were encouraging when Dad was, at first, still able to participate in group activities, and have his mind stimulated by field trips, even to the point of being invited to the store with the handyman to "help" him do his job, which pleased my father greatly and made him feel useful." – Katie, daughter of former resident
“The attention given to our parents is unbelievable at Garden Courte. Our parents lived with us for eight years and moving them out of our home was a huge gut wrenching decision. Finding a caring home for them was imperative. After moving them into Garden Courte and seeing how welcome they made our parents feel was a great stress reliever. After several weeks we can see they are providing them a personal caring touch every minute of the day and also during the night hours.” – Robbi & John , daughter and son-in-law of current residents
Once again we find ourselves so thankful for the caring staff of Garden Courte. On Thanksgiving, we had our dinner and family time at Dad's at the Firs. The wind was blowing and the rain was pouring down, but Ursula with her warm and sparkling disposition took the time and effort to get the Garden Courte bus fired up and drove Mom up to the Firs for us. She even went back in and got a warm blanket for Mom, as she said the bus might not be warm enough. She then returned to deliver Mom back to GC. Just another example of your staff going that extra mile for the families and their loved ones. Please convey to Ursula again how much she is appreciated by [our] family! – Susan, adult child of current resident
